Dirty Quickies Photo Project

Dirty Quickies is a collaborative photography project documenting the diverse people and places in Toronto through portraits. Two photographers are assigned with photographing a stranger in a location the stranger decides within a 15-minute time limit. The photographers take turns and neither photographer watches the other shoot. After the session, each photographer selects one portrait each, and the images are arranged in a diptych. The purpose of this project is to explore subjectivity through the camera lens. Different individuals can see different things when looking at the same object or event and Dirty Quickies serves as an examination between two. The results are very interesting. Nadia J Guo is the collaborative photographer on this project.
