Chet Tilokani is a Toronto-based cinematographer, photographer and visual artist drawn to capturing humanity and emotions through images. His cinematography work includes short- and feature-length films, commercials, documentaries, television series and music videos and is nominated for a CSA for Best Photography in Comedy for “I Have Nothing”. His photography can be described as editorial-meets-photojournalism with the aim of creating a conduit between his subjects and the viewers. His work in visual arts features oil painting and ink drawings that pull inspiration from the way the world is perceived through a camera lens. The underlying theme that ties these streams together is the use of light and colour to capture the internal world of his subjects and subject matter.
